How It All Started
In 2015, Airbnb's real estate team was growing fast—expanding globally, opening new offices, and juggling more leases than their systems could handle.
They tried every major lease management platform. None of them fit. They were too rigid, too clunky, and not built for modern teams.
So they asked for something better.
Together, we built the first version of Spacebase—a system of record that actually worked. It could adapt to complex portfolios, move fast with growing teams, and make the business finance and real estate sides feel like one.
